Meet Casey

Casey Wyman, MS, LPCC (Owner)

Welcome! From a young age, I found a sense of purpose in helping others by listening to their stories, and I realized that a career in counseling was where I needed to be. My primary goal as a therapist has been to provide an environment where my clients feel safe to work through life’s challenges without fear of judgement. It’s difficult to ask for help, to put your trust in another person, and allow yourself to be vulnerable. Using a person-centered, strengths-based approach, I strive to provide a space where client’s feel well supported as they navigate their treatment journey.

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and my Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University-Mankato. Since beginning my journey in the mental health field over 15 years ago, I have gained experience in crime victim services, play therapy, chemical dependency counseling, children’s mental health, disordered eating, nutritional counseling, and pre and post bariatric surgery counseling. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Family Based Treatment (FBT). Seven years of my career was spent specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.

Reaching out for help can be nerve-wracking but we're here to make the process as comfortable as possible. Below are some questions frequently asked by first time clients. If you don't see something listed, feel free to contact us for additional information.
How Long are Sessions?
A standard session is 50 minutes long.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance by calling or emailing us. Monday appointments must be cancelled by noon the Friday before your appointment to not be considered a late cancellation. All late cancellations (cancelled less than 48 hours in advance) and no-shows will be charged $100 to the card on file.
How Often Will I Meet for Therapy?
Session frequency varies from client to client. Most clients will initiate services at a frequency of weekly to every other week. As they develop the tools to manage their symptoms, clients transition to a less frequent schedule such as monthly or on an as needed basis until client and provider determine treatment goals have been met.
What Insurances Do You Take?
Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Health Partners, UCARE, Medicare, Optum, Medica, UBH/UHC, UMR. We also offer private pay rates by request and work with Employee Assistance Programs (NuVantage and AllOne Health).
